Surimi risotto and fondue of leeks


Recipe for surimi risotto and fondue of leeks:

Risotto super easy to make, and not expensive! The taste of surimi is mixed with creamy rice and is delicious !!!

Ingredients (for 2) :

  • 150g risotto rice
  • 80g leek
  • 10 surimi sticks
  • Cream
  • Dill, chives, parsley

Mixture : 

  • Pour the rice in a pan of cold water, then put on medium heat (do not forget to stir regularly). (See the article "The perfect risotto")
  • Meanwhile cut the surimi and leeks into slices.
  • Put the leeks in a pan with a little olive oil, and place over high heat.
  • Reduce heat after a few minutes, then add the herbs (dill, chives, parsley).
  • When there is almost no water with the rice, add 2-3 tablespoons of cream into the pan.
  • At the end of cooking, add the surimi slices in the pan.
Suggestion : You can replace the surimi with prawns. We can also add some chopped shallots in the leeks.
